Six-car crash sees major delays on Dublin's M50 as emergency services rush to scene

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious crash on Dublin's M50 with six vehicles involved.

The smash happened at junction 9 southbound at the Red Cow with major delays during rush-hour traffic.

A fire brigade spokesperson said: "We're currently attending a six vehicle road traffic collision on M50 Dublin at the J9 Red Cow Southbound. The hard shoulder and auxiliary lane are affected with severe delays on approach."

Three people have reportedly been rushed to hospital as a precaution - updates to come.
