The team behind the renowned Six by Nico group of restaurants has announced that their new philanthropic restaurant in Glasgow will open on November 16.
Beat 6, which will open on Whitehill Street in Dennistoun, will offer a combination of unique food and social good. The Beatson Cancer Charity, which supports the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, will get 100% of the proceeds from the restaurant.
The 34-cover restaurant will offer a constantly rotating tasting menu that celebrates some of the most popular dishes they've ever created in the Six by Nico kitchens throughout the years.

Beat 6 revealed its inaugural menu that will offer a six course tasting menu for £32.
The menu will include amuse from The Alps menu - Raclette Fondue - Crispy Pigs Head, Quince; Circus - Candy Butchers - Beef Carpaccio, Burger Sauce, Aged Parmesan, Pickled Cucumber; New York - Little Italy - Cacio e Pepe Agnolotti, Crown Prince Pumpkin & Parsley Emulsion; Guilty Pleasures - Fish supper 2.0 - Scrabster Cod, Caramelised Cauliflower, Curry Sauce, Caper & Raisin; Thai Fusion - Penang Chicken, Sweet Potato, Papaya & Peanut Salad, Coriander Emulsion and finally a Six by Nico classic from The Chippie - Deep Fried Mars Bar - Irn Bru sorbet and Chocolate Soil.
The restaurant group has also announced a series of team events to raise funds across its nine locations in England, Scotland, and Ireland. These include adding a discretionary £1 charger per diner in Scotland which will be donated directly to the Beatson Cancer Charity and as well as this, the team have various exciting fundraising events in the pipeline.
Restaurateur Nico Simeone, his wife and their family want to help the Beatson Cancer Charity help others in the same way it helped them. Nico's wife is one of thousands of Scots who has benefited from Beatson's world-class treatment.
Beat 6 will open from Tuesday November 16 at 10 Whitehill Street, Denniston. Open weekly Tuesday - Saturday, the six-course menu will be available from noon to night. The Beat 6 menu is priced at £32 per person with the option to enjoy an expertly selected wine and specialist drinks pairing for an additional £27. Beat 6 will also offer a vegetarian alternative for every course.
