Six by Nico announces new Alps-inspired menu with 'mountains of meat and cheese'

Edinburgh restaurant Six by Nico has announced that its next menu will be 'The Alps', as Chef Nico Simeone brings a contemporary and refined take on the illustrious and cosy cuisine of the mountains.

Inspired by charming Alpine towns and villages, ‘The Alps’ will whizz diners across the snow kissed mountain-regions of France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy with each bite - all from the comfort of Hanover Street.

The six-course tasting menu will provide guests at the restaurant a taste of classic Alpine-cuisine, inextricably linked to cosy lodges, cheese fondue, cured meats, snow sports and apres-ski.

As 'The Best of 2019' menu draws to an end, visitors to Six by Nico can expect to enjoy all things comfort food as the new menu boasts wholesome and rugged meat and cheese filled dishes.

The menu launches officially on Tuesday February 18th with the Alps being dishes up from midday, Tuesday through to Sunday for six weeks.

The menu will be priced from £29 per person and, as ever, there is a vegetarian alternative available for every course, as well as 'The Alps' inspired snack sides.
