HYDERABAD: Six persons were arrested by Nizamabad police on Monday for attacking a person of another community on September 8.
Nizamabad police said that two persons, who were colleagues, were stopped and attacked by the accused while they were travelling on a bike for official work. The man was attacked by a group of persons for travelling with a woman who belonged to another community.
The video of the incident was recorded by the accused and circulated on social media. After receiving information about the incident, police began investigation. Later, the victim lodged a complaint with the police. Based on his complaint, a case was registered and six persons were arrested.
