Saturday saw upwards of 70 Open Gardens Square vistors to the allotment.
Some came to offer advice (a special thanks to the lady who passed on the tip about comfrey to distract the slugs, apperently it is their very favourite food and we have a lot of it growing nearby). Some came out of curiousity to see the beautiful secret garden we swoon about in the magazine and blog. Still others because it is a glorious weekend, the lovely gardens of Fenton House and the Freud Museum are all nearby, plus, there is free rosé and after 5pm today the allotments will retire once to their secret status... You should come too.
