Having not read a book by David Walliams we were unsure what to expect. Were were not disappointed! A fun, entertaining laugh-out-loud book!
Chester was pleased it contained a character named after him!
Awful Aunties with boozy voices, pipe smoking and cake eating, make for a great story that makes everyone realise how lovely their own aunties are!

A lovely easy to read story about Daisy and her excitement about Christmas.
The troubles that occur, particularly when your best friend has been offered a better part in the school Nativity than you, and you become her helper!

Werewolf Club Rules! by Joseph Coelho

A book of many different poems, we enjoyed the poems that rhymed but found some of the other poems a little strange and complicated! We did however share the Last Day of School poem with the class before Christmas and they enjoyed finding the meaning of each paragraph.
