An East Kilbride-based site manager had come out on top in a national housebuilding awards.
David Morrison was on of eight Taylor Wimpey West Scotland site managers celebrating a win.
He picked up the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Quality Award for his work at the Benthall Farm Affordable development.
Brian Henderson from Taylor Wimpey told Lanarkshire Live : “We have always been committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service, and we continue to be an NHBC award-winning homebuilder year after year.
"These individual awards are thoroughly deserved and we’re incredibly proud that we have some of the best site managers in Scotland."
This was Taylor Wimpey West Scotland's best collective regional performance in Scotland in this prestigious annual competition.
Out of more than 8000 site managers from around the UK, each of the award-winning site managers is one of 443 who have been recognised for their dedication to building high quality homes.
Each of the eight site managers, including David, progresses to the Scottish regional awards final later this year to find out who is the best of the best in Scotland.
Steve Wood, NHBC chief executive, added: “We believe that the calibre of the site manager and the way they inspire their site team has the greatest influence on the quality of the finished home.
“Congratulations to all the Pride in the Job 2022 Quality Award winners. They are an inspiration to us all and should be very proud of the quality of new homes they are creating.”
