People who think AI is great REALLY want us to see how “good” it can be for videos and…it always looks bad. Like this sitcom video that someone posted on X thinking they were really giving us something special…
A video started going around of what is supposed to be a clip from Friends but it is a bunch of nonsense with people who just appear, have no facial control, and are never speaking when they’re supposed to. Not to mention the girl who is just playing air guitar for whatever reason. But those on the “AI RULES” side of things think this is…good?

This is unfortunately so common at this point. Whoever wants to rally behind the use of AI keeps trying to make art with it and then claims that it is “so good” but then those of us with brain cells see just how bad this looks. Even if it looked like real people, there is no soul at all to this.
And look, I’m not even the biggest fan of Friends but to post this and claim that sitcoms will “never” be the same when none of this makes any sense is…pretty wild. But are we surprised? These are the people who willingly kill the environment day in and day out using AI to try and take away more jobs from human beings.
I think that sitcoms will be just fine because I don’t think anyone in their right mind is watching this and thinking that this looks good, especially to go on television. But hey, this guy seems to think that a girl spinning and turning into two people is normal.
