Marvel supervillain Thanos wanted to restore balance to the universe, but his chair looks a bit precarious...
Those going to Capital Sci-Fi Con, the charity convention taking place in Edinburgh this month, can have their photos taken sitting on the throne of Thanos from the Infinity Wars films.
A replica of the galactic overlord's chair and Infinity Gauntlet will be at the convention in the Corn Exchange from February 14 to 16.
Other photo opportunities include the E.T. bicycle and a massive prop of the shark from Jaws.
The convention, which raises money for childrens' hospice charity Chas, has also announced an auction to win a copy of a Doctor Who script signed and illustrated by Peter Capaldi.
The former Time Lord said: "This is a shooting script for 'Heaven Sent' – or 'X' as it was known at the time. Reading the full script gives an insight into Steven Moffat’s beautiful work, as well as that of Rachel Talalay the director and our wonderful crew. I’ve painted a picture on the cover because it’s a fun thing to do and, for Doctor Who collectors, makes it an absolutely unique item.
"I’m sorry I can’t be with the CHAS team at Capital Sci-Fi Con this year, but hope this is a little reminder. Please support their amazing work."
