Sit in your slippers all day and get paid 40k for it - is this the best job offer of all time?

We’ve covered jobs for chocolate lovers and gin devotees - but is there a dream job for people who don't want to leave the sofa?

Turns out there is! Couch potatoes, this one is for you.

A British slipper company is hiring a 'slipper tester' - meaning you get paid to lounge about all day long in your jimjams (and slippers, of course).

The best part? You'll get 40k pro rota for the pleasure. That's more than the national average salary without even having to leave the house!

If you are interested, then there are just a few criteria you need to fill in order to apply for the coveted role.

Bedroom Athletics posted on their website: "Do you love a new pair of fluffy slippers? Do you spend a lot of time at home? Would you like to be paid for giving us some feedback on our new Autumn/Winter range?

"If you’ve answered yes to any of the above, then you’re in luck! We’re currently recruiting for the newly created role of ‘Slipper Tester’ to wear our products for a minimum of 12 hours a day.

"As well as receiving gifted products to test out and give extensive feedback on, you will be paid a salary of £40k (pro-rata) for your time and critiques."

To apply, you'll need to reply to all of the relevant information on the  Bedroom Athletics website  , and explain why you'd make the ideal slipper tester in less than 1000 words. Once you've done that, email your application to  info@bedroomathletics.com  .

Applications are open until November 18. Good luck!
