Sister's desperate appeal for missing 20-year-old man

The worried sister of a man missing from Bishopbriggs has launched a desperate bid to bring him home.

Paul Sweeney, 20, left his home at lunchtime yesterday and was last seen in Hilton Road at around 5pm.

He is described as just under 6ft tall, and was wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a red hoody.

In a public Facebook post, Kerry wrote: "His phone is going straight to voicemail and there’s no sign of him being active on social media.

"My family are worried sick, he’s not been in contact with any of his friends.

"Any information at all would be appreciated to help get him home safe!"

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "I can confirm we have a missing person report under that name and enquiries continue to trace them."
