Sister of suspected murder victim Sammy-Lee Lodwig pays tribute to her 'pocket rocket'

The grief-stricken sister of a 22-year-old woman who was allegedly murdered in Swansea has paid an emotional tribute to her "little pocket rocket."

Sammy-Lee Lodwig's sister Miakala has issued a statement on behalf of her family after she was found dead at an address in Carlton Terrace, Mount Pleasant , yesterday.

A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the killing.

The statement read: “I loved my sister more than life itself. She has been taken from me and my family too early.

“She was my little pocket rocket who loved animals, especially her dog Rocky. She will always remain in my heart.

“Words cannot express how I feel at this time, I just want my baby girl back, my shooting star.”
