The sister of a missing man suffering from "severe depression" says his family are "worried sick" trying to find him.
Peter Bebbington was last seen at his home in Langley Court in Ellesmere Port at around 5.20am on Sunday, August 11.
The 34-year-old's partner Faye Morris woke in the night to find him in a "distressed state" and rang his dad for help.
Peter's dad told Faye to "ring 999" but by the time she got off the phone he had gone.
Peter is described as being 6ft 4ins tall, with dark black hair and a moustache.
He was last seen wearing a black waterproof coat, blue jeans and black trainers.
Sister, Becky Bebbington, 26, from Ellesmere Port, said: "He's severely depressed so he goes through moments when he gets suicidal and my dad helps to calm him down.
"His girlfriend said we need to call your dad but he didn't want that so she went in the kitchen and shut the door to phone him and during the time she's been on the phone he left.
"We have no indication of where he went or what direction he's gone in. We are trying to solve all these unanswered questions.
"We just want him to know that there's people that love him and we want to help him. We are a very strong family and we can be there for him."
The family have organised a number of searches in Ellesmere Port and the surrounding areas, since Peter went missing four days ago.
Becky added: "Everyone is worried sick. His nieces and nephews just want to see him, they keep asking is uncle Peter okay?
"Every single person I can think of has turned up at the search, all his friends and family.
"We just want to know he's safe even if he doesn't want to come home straight away we just want to know he's okay."

A search for Peter will take place this evening, starting at the Gunners Arms pub on Thornton Road in Ellesmere Port at 6.30pm.
Cheshire Constabulary have confirmed that a possible sighting of Peter was reported to them.
Becky added: "We can't thank everyone enough for sharing our posts on social media and for all the information they have given to us so far.
"I have been out everyday searching for him. I have always been protected by my big brothers.
"My other older brother is in prison and is going out of his mind because he can't do anything to help look for Peter. And now I don't have my other big brother to turn to, I just want to see him."
Anyone who thinks they may have seen Peter, or might have any information as to his whereabouts, is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 482872.
