Sister of missing Hamilton schoolgirl Madison Chassels calls on her to return home safely

The sister of missing schoolgirl Madison Chassels has called on her to return home safely.

Worried Chelsea Chassels, 29, says she’ll drive to pick up her little sister wherever she is and bring her home.

Thirteen-year-old Madison has been missing from her home in Hamilton since yesterday lunchtime (Sunday, June 14).

Big sister Chelsea pleaded: “Madison, you’re not in any trouble. I’ll come and get you wherever you are. Just let me know you’re okay.”

Local police have described Madison as 5ft 2ins, medium build with long purple hair. She is believed to be wearing a black parka jacket which has a furry hood, black jeans and red Vans trainers.

Chelsea added to the appeals with a clearer picture of Madison. She added: “This is a better picture of Madison. She’s almost 14, she has braces and purple in her hair. She may also have a backpack. Anything at all, even possible sightings please let me know.”

Madison lives with her mum and two younger siblings in Hamilton.

Chelsea also explained Madison has links to the Coatbridge and Glasgow areas, where she’s known to frequent and visit friends there.

Sergeant Paul Collins of Hamilton Police Office is appealing to the public for help tracing Madison and asks that anyone with any information calls 101 and quotes incident number 3393 of 14th June.
