How Tottenham's squad could look at the end of the transfer window according to Football Manager

As the 2019/20 Premier League season approaches, all eyes are on Tottenham's summer transfer business - will they sign a player for the first time since January 2018?

Spurs' fourth place Premier League finish, and their Champions League final appearance, should put them well in the mix when it comes to transfer targets.

Mauricio Pochettino's side have been linked with players like Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso in this window, players who will cost a signifant some of money to sign.

However, there have been a few players linked with a move away, including Christian Eriksen.

So, who will Spurs buy? And, who will they sell?

Here is how the Tottenham squad could look in the 2019/20 season - according to Football Manager 2019.

What Tottenham's first XI looks like in 2019/20

With all the transfers completed, this is how the Tottenham starting XI looked ahead of the first game of the 2019/20 season.

The goalkeeper and defence remain the same, despite £88 million being spent, it's in midfield where Pochettino felt he needed more quality.

In the centre of midfield, new signings Barrios and Ajer add bite and quality, whilst Ziyech provides real creativity from the right side of midfield.

There is no room for Christian Eriksen at the start of next season, with Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min preferred and of course, Kane keeps his place up front.

After their summer spree, Spurs' bench is incredibly strong, something that they haven't had all this season.

Players not in the starting XI include Eriksen, Ben Davies, Lucas Pratto, Diogo Jota, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez, Harry Winks, Victor Wanyama, Lucas Moura and Kieran Tripper.

According to Football Manager 2019, Spurs will have a whopper of a window, and they'll keep hold of Eriksen.
