
President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi are scheduled to meet next month at the White House, an official statement said on Friday.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in the statement released that the leaders will meet on April 9.
The two leaders would discuss "building on our robust military, economic and counterterrorism cooperation" as well as regional economic integration and "Egypt’s longstanding role as a lynchpin of regional stability," the statement read, Reuters reported.
