
President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi ratified on Monday a law on the establishment of the Egypt Fund after it was approved by parliament.
The independent Fund will enjoy a capital of 200 billion Egyptian pounds and be headquartered in Cairo.
It is aimed at contributing in sustainable economic development through managing its funds, assets and best opportunities for investment according to the best standards and international regulations in order to boost its value.
To that end, the Fund will cooperate with Arab and foreign funds and various financial institutions.
