Sir Tom Jones announces Glasgow tour date for 'Surrounded By Time' 2021 concert

Music icon Sir Tom Jones has announced his return to the stage with his new 'Surrounded By Time' tour - and it all kicks off in Glasgow.

The tour, set to play songs from his latest album, includes covers of songs featuring legends such as Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens and Bobby Cole.

Released back in April, the critically acclaimed number one album is described as marking "new territory with a sonic landscape of outstanding musicianship and vocal delivery that re-imagines a diverse set of songs of personal importance that have impacted the artist throughout a long, unpredictable but undeniably impressive career."

The 81-year-old is well-known for his chart-topping music including songs such as 'It's not unusual' which entered the chart on the first week of its release.

A month later in March 1965, it reached number one in the UK.

After performing in Glasgow's SSE Hydro - Scotland's only location - the tour will move to Birmingham’s Utilita Arena and Manchester’s AO Arena before closing at The O2 Arena, London.
