Sir Simon Rattle conducts the Australian World Orchestra over two concerts, joined by Czech mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kožená. The orchestra, which includes 95 Australian musicians who play in the world’s leading orchestras, will play Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune and Bruckner’s eighth symphony. Kožená will join the orchestra for a specially arranged version of Debussy’s Ariettes oubliées.
