Sir Paul McCartney has recorded a track for 'rival' group, the Rolling Stones.
The Beatles legend brought his talents to the table for a song which will feature on the Rolling Stones' upcoming album, Variety reported.
The bands enjoyed a tongue-in-cheek, competitive relationship but have thrown some pretty heavy digs at each other during their time in the spotlight. Their rivalry began during the 70s after John Lennon called Mick Jagger "a joke" which sparked numerous digs back and forth.

Their commentary on each other's work has continued into the current decade with Paul labelling the Rolling Stones as a "blues cover band" in 2021. He said: "That's what the Stones are. I think our net was cast a bit wider than theirs."
During more amicable times, the two groups borrowed each other's members for light background work. Lennon and McCartney featured on the Rolling Stones' single We Love You as background singers, later repaying the favour with Brian Jones playing the saxophone on The Beatles' You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)
The Beatles' Ringo Star may also have a part to play in the Rolling Stones' upcoming release with the specifics remaining under wraps.
