Sir David Jason briefly reprised his role as Only Fools and Horses’ Del Boy.
Sir David, 85, played wheeler-dealer Del Boy Trotter in the BBC programme set in Peckham from 1981 until 1991.
And he slipped in to character while appearing on Chris Moyles’ Radio X show this morning.
“Can I say hello to Del Boy,” Moyles asked, clearly excited.

“Oh go on then pal,” he replied in character.
He also spoke about his main bugbear with some other actors, saying he gets annoyed when others take themselves too seriously.
“One of the things that irritates me greatly, is when I read or hear stories about some actors who have to be quiet, ‘Don't talk to me, stay there. I want to be on my own.’
“Why is that? ‘I've got to get into character, and I need this morning to get into my character.’ And I think, you know, do me a favour.”
He added: “And that irritates me, because you're lifting yourself above everyone else that is part of the team. It's like you here, you are part of the team.”
A couple of years ago, he admitted that he still wears some of Del Boy’s more outlandish clothes.
Speaking to The Sun, Sir David joked: “How dare you even suggest that I kept that bomber jacket, and that black cap, and that overcoat.
”I didn’t steal them . . . they were offered to me and because they were memories of my character, I grabbed them with both hands. I put them in a big suitcase and off I went,” he continued.
“There’s still one sweater I wear much to my wife Gill’s chagrin. She hates it and I love it.
“She says I should give it to charity and I say no, it’s my memories of Fools and Horses. I’ll tell you what I’ve also got, that big sheepskin coat that Del wore right at the beginning.
“Unfortunately, I can’t wear that because it’s too loud but I love it,” he added to the publication.
