Sir Andy Murray has told how he considered shaving off all his body hair to liven things up in the bedroom with his wife.
The three-time Grand Slam champion said he suggested the idea to wife Kim while going through a “dry spell”.
Murray, 34, said he was inspired by looking at the shaved legs of Spanish tennis player Feliciano Lopez when they played doubles together at Queen’s in 2019.
However, he said Kim, 33, the mother of his four children, was not impressed and told him to keep his hair.
The Scot was speaking to comedians Romesh Ranganathan and Rob Beckett on their Sky One show. He said: “At Queen’s I played with a Spanish guy called Feliciano Lopez. He’s properly chiselled.
“When we were sitting on the bench I did find myself sort of looking at his legs and stuff. He’s totally clean shaven.”
When Beckett asked Murray if he had ever considered shaving all his body hair, he replied: “I have touched on it with my wife and said, ‘Would you like me to?’ but she’s not keen.
“I was probably going through a bit of a dry spell.”
Last year, Murray revealed that Kim wants him to have a hair transplant to deal with his thinning hairline but he is not keen on the idea.
