Victory for United against City would cap off a superb few days for the club, following on from the midweek victory against Tottenham Hotspur - where Jose Mourinho made his return to Old Trafford.
The two goals against City also continued an impressive scoring record for Solskjaer's side, as United have now scored at least two goals in eight of their last ten matches in all competitions.
