Siofra Cleirigh Buttner has smashed the 800m Irish indoor record, which was only set by Nadia Power last Wednesday.
The Dubliner finished Sunday's race in 2.00.58, beating Power's time of 2.00.98.
Cleirigh Buttner broke the record in the American Track League meeting at Fayetteville as she finished second behind Heather Maclean of the USA by just .06 of a second.
It comes ahead of next week's European Indoor Athletics Championships in Poland, the team for which is set to be named later today.
Five Irish athletes have now posted the five fastest runs in the history of the indoor event in the last five days.
Power competes again at the World Tour Finals in Madrid on Wednesday evening.
