Sinister EastEnders trailer teases Ian Beale's death as Sharon cooks final deadly meal

EastEnders has teased Ian Beale's untimely death in a sinister trailer promising revenge.

Ian, played by Adam Woodyatt, has unknowingly been poisoned over the last month by wife Sharon after Phil's failed murder attempt last year.

And it looks like Ian will receive one last meal...

The dark trailer shows Sharon gazing at a photo of late son Dennis as his last voicemail to her plays, reminding her of Ian's role in his death.

Viewers are then treated to a close-up of a neatly triangled sandwich, with a macabre 'Eat Em' post-it stuck to the plate.

Later, Sharon cooks up dinner and tells him that they should "make it a night to remember", decorating the table with a red rose - but she isn't convinced about silencing Ian for ever.

But Phil is on hand to persuade her to take the killer plunge, saying: "Ian took our son away and he has to pay."

Ahead of their meal, Ian tells Sharon: "I'm really looking forward to tonight."

"Me too," Sharon replies with a snarl.

Sharon finds her conscience tested as Kathy pleads with her to help her son, but it doesn't seem as though she's listened as Sharon serves up a feast.

The trailer also teases Frankie confronting Mick about what happened between him and her mum, but Mick pushes her away.

Jay also addresses his true feelings and tells Honey that their kiss "meant everything", but it looks like Lola might have heard them...

Ash and her mum Suki come to blows as the doctor brands her a "heartless b***h".

But Iqra and Ash appear to split as the tearful doctor insists that they can "get through this".

Yet Iqra tells her firmly: "No."

Is that it for the couple? What has Ash told Iqra? Or has she done something?
