It's no secret that older relatives can become a little bit too invested in their younger relatives love lives.
They mean well but can be pretty blunt when they ask questions about whether they've found someone or not.
One woman was left in stitches after her grandad, 91, sent a rather brutal message to ask about her love life.
The harsh, but hilarious messages went viral after Megan Elizabeth shared a screenshot of some of the messages from her grandfather on TikTok.
In one message, her grandad says: "This is grandpa. I read an article that said if you do not find a life partner by 29, you most likely die alone.

"Your birthday is coming up in three months. Just wanted to let you know. Love, grandpa."
Ouch. Understandably, Megan just replied 'thanks' to the 91-year-old after he brutally dispensed that advice.
In another message, he said: "Megan, this is grandpa. I hope you are keeping the weight you lost off. Remember, heart disease runs in our family."
There's definitely more tactful ways to have that conversation, but at least he's looking out for her, we guess.
Meanwhile, it seems her grandad had also read a concerning article about dangerous drinking, as he wrote: "Hi Megan, this is your grandpa.
"I hope you aren't drinking a lot. I saw on the news that alcohol sales are sky-high because millennials are depressed. Love you always, grandpa."
People were left in stitches at her grandad's brutal but caring manner, as one viewer joked: "It's like everything he said came off wrong, but I know it's from the heart."
Another commented: "People over 85 should be able to say whatever they want. Love your responses to him.
"He adores you and is just trying to be sure you're safe once he is gone."
A third added: "It's so brutal, but also really cute. You have three months to find a husband - good luck!"
