A crash on a rural road near Stocksfield on Wednesday morning saw the emergency services scrambled and the road closed for much of the day.
The incident took place shortly at around 10.15am on the B6309 heading southbound. The police and ambulance service confirmed that just one car was involved and that two ambulance crews were required on the scene.
There is no further information as to the condition of those involved at this stage.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At about 10.15am today (Wednesday) we received a report of a collision on the B6309 southbound near Stocksfield."
A NEAS spokesperson said: "We received a call at 10am this morning to reports of a 1-vehicle road traffic incident on the B6309 near Kipperlynn, Stocksfield. We dispatched two ambulance crews and one clinical team leader to the scene."
Footage from the scene showed the emergency services there, with roads closed into the afternoon.
