The past year may be a difficult one for Rylan Clark as 2021 will mark the year his marriage to Dan Neal collapsed – but he has proved he is taking his new single life by the horns.
The 33-year-old television presenter was married to 42-year-old ex-copper Dan in 2015 – but fans were saddened to learn their marriage was over in June this year.
Rylan was missing in action for several weeks following news of his split – taking himself off the air and off screens to focus on himself for a 10 week stint.
But now the former X Factor contestant appears to be enjoying life as a singleton and recently offered his professional opinion on a line-up of wannabe porn performers.
Rylan joined club owner Jeremy Jospeh and drag performer Son Of A Tutu to judge the contestants of Porn Idol at G-A-Y at London’s Heaven nightclub.
The TV host looked in good spirits as he posed for a photo alongside Jeremy, Son Of A Tutu, a Santa Claus and Jeremy’s beloved dog Jacob backstage at the X Rated event last Thursday night.
The porn idol event sees amateur strippers taking their kit off on stage – with a winner bagging a cash prize at the end of the competition.
Sharing the behind-the-scenes snap with followers via Instagram, Jeremy wrote: “Christmas Covid Rules Applied. Backstage at G-A-Y Porn Idol. Vaccinated with Mince Pfizer. Santa Paws with Santa Claus.”
While Rylan confessed he was “in a bad place” when he split from Dan, he has since been spotted on Tinder as he continues to make the most of single life.
However, the star admits he is not looking to settled down with someone new straight away.
Addressing the fact he had been spotted on the dating app, Rylan told the MailOnline: "I'm not actively out there looking for husband number two by any f*****g means, believe me."
He continued: "I'm just focusing on myself to be honest.
"I've been so busy since coming back to work. Work really helps me, especially Strictly over the past few months.
"Now it's time for me to maybe just wind down, spend some time with my family, get Christmas and New Year out the way.
"It's gonna be a little bit different for me this year."
His profile is said to feature photos of him and the caption: “Tall normal bloke - 6'4 - am I actually on this thing?”
As well as creating a Tinder profile, Rylan has given himself a style make-over – recently replacing his famously bright veneers.
Addressing his change on Twitter, Rylan wrote earlier this month: "After 8 years. It hurts, so much, but sometimes you just have to let go. I’ve taken the decision to say goodbye… to my teeth [laughing emoji] new smile imminent [smiling emoji]".
And later told the MailOnline of his outgoing teeth: "I've still got them, they're in a bag somewhere, I'm gonna get them framed.”
