Single mum told by online gaming giant she couldn't have £13,000 blackjack win

A mum of three was told she could not have the £13,000 she won playing blackjack online - because she was using her son's debit card.

Donna Keeling got into a payout battle with Jackpotjoy.com, one of the world's largest online gaming firms.

The 42-year-old racked up the whopping winnings from just a £25 deposit, reports Stoke-on-Trent Live .

Gambling virgin Donna put the meagre deposit down to play online slot machines and saw her winnings rise to £150 before switching to Black Jack.

She attempted to withdraw her winnings after netting £13,000.

She said: "I couldn't believe I had won so much. I wanted to withdraw £12,000 and leave £1000 in the account to play with.

"I was using my son's card to play and didn't think that would be problem. But after I withdrew the money I received an email asking me to call them.

"As far as I could see there was nothing in the terms and conditions which said I couldn't use somebody else's card.

"If the amount had been £200 they would probably have just paid out, but because this was a lot of money, it would have been a big loss to them."

Now the online giant has coughed up the cash after Donna provided more personal information.

Donna even consulted the Gambling Commission before finally securing the £13,000.

She added: "Things like this don't happen to me. I'm a single mum with a one-year-old baby and a six-year-old child."

The 23-year-old, from Fenton, said: "The money will help my mum out massively. She is over the moon and really, really happy.

"She's going to take the kids away on holiday and will treat me and she'll just use it on stuff she wouldn't have been able to do before."
