Single mum-of-four dies suddenly at home in 'unexplained' circumstances

A young mum of four died suddenly at home in 'unexplained' circumstances.

Jennifer Hinton was discovered at an address in Tean, Staffordshire a week ago.

The 37-year-old's death is now under police investigation, Stoke Sentinel reports.

Tributes have flocked in for the former Cheadle High School student, who leaves behind her four young children.

Friends have set up a fundraising page for the kids, which has already raised £2,000.

A description on the GoFundMe page reads: "Single mum Jennifer Hinton was taken from this world too soon on September 19 leaving behind four beautiful children who were her world.

"These four vibrant children are now starting a new chapter in their lives without their loving mum.

"The trust fund is to provide these children with financial support for their immediate future.

"Many of Jenny's family and friends have expressed the wish to help in anyway they can and this is so kind and thoughtful.

"We have set up this page as a way of providing practical assistance with the many costs that will build up in the future for Jenny's beautiful babies .

"If you feel you can help at all any donation big or small will be warmly welcomed."

Tributes have been flooding in for Jennifer, a PE teacher, since the tragedy last Saturday.

Emma Reynolds said: "Another beautiful soul gone to the angels. A lovely girl with a beautiful family."

Carli Gilham added: "Such a lovely person, my heart is broken for you and your family. RIP Jenny."

Becks Croft said: "RIP Jen, I’m heartbroken. You had so much life and love in you left to give. Rest in paradise beautiful. Until we meet again."

Julie Bailey added: "So hard to take in. Rest in peace beautiful. I still remember the laughs we had at work."

And Karen Mace said: "Heaven's gained a lovely women. My thoughts are with all her family."

In a statement released two days after her death, Staffordshire Police said: "Detectives are investigating the sudden death of a woman in Tean.

"Emergency services were called to Cheadle Road, Upper Tean, following the discovery of a 37-year-old woman's body at an address.

"Her death is being treated as unexplained at this time and enquiries are on-going. Formal identification will take place in due course and a report is being prepared for HM Coroner."
