A Lanarkshire musical group are holding a Christmas concert this weekend with all proceeds going towards the Hamilton Advertiser Toy Appeal.
The local singers, Octave, will host their festive show this Saturday, December 4, with the cost of tickets all going to help disadvantaged youngsters across South Lanarkshire.
So far, this year's appeal by the Advertiser is receiving a fantastic response from generous locals who have donated kindly with gifts and money to support those less fortunate.
And in a beautiful gesture to help the cause, Octave will be in full voice on Saturday and are inviting people to come along, enjoy the music and raise some money for the Toy Appeal.
The vocalists come from all over Lanarkshire with singers from Hamilton, Motherwell, Wishaw and Carluke.
The concert will be held in Dalziel St Andrew's Parish Church in Motherwell, and will begin at 7.30pm on the night.
It's not the first time Octave have supported the Advertiser's annual Christmas fundraising drive. The group last played a Christmas concert in 2019 and raised a superb £1500.
They have kindly chosen to do this again this year and hope to see as many turn out as possible.
David Fisher, Musical Director of the group told Lanarkshire Live: "We wanted to support a local cause and at Christmas it's all about children. We thought by us enjoying ourselves by singing can raise money for children to have a toy then that's our Christmas present."
Tickets are priced at £10, with all proceeds going straight to the Toy Appeal.
