About 220 people, including members of a Taito Ward amateur chorus group, join together for a performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 "Choral" at Mitsukoshi department store's Nihombashi flagship in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, on Sunday. The rendition of "Ode to Joy" that filled the air of the main hall, which features an open ceiling, drew warm applause from the many shoppers who watched the event.
