Singer Una Healy said that she wasn’t “out to bash” ex Ben foden in her new song which talks about their split and his infidelity.
The 37-year-old’s newest single Strangers is her first release since the pair broke up last year.
The Tipperary beauty said that she hadn’t heard from Ben about the song and that he was always supportive of her music.
She told The Herald: “There is nothing revealing in the song that he hasn’t mentioned himself in interviews.

“I wasn’t out to bash him, it’s just the sad part of it that you are just like that stranger again after all those years together.”
The Saturdays star added that she had to be strong for her children Aoife Belle, seven, and Tadhg, four.
But Una has managed to come out to the other side and is now dating Limerick hurler David Breen.

Una said: “We are enjoying ourselves, we spend a lot of time together. The kids have met him a good few times as well.”
Ben, 33, had announced his divorce from The Saturdays star Una last August on dating app Bumble.
He admitted after they split he'd been unfaithful.
"I was the one who committed adultery," he said.
"But at the same time, it wasn’t the only reason for our divorce to go through. It’s not ideal but we’re very amicable, we’re getting through it."
