South Korean singer Taeyeon will be the first female K-pop artist to present two performances of a solo concert in the Kingdom at Thunder Dome Muang Thong Thani on Dec 1 at 6pm and Dec 2 at 4pm.
The "s ... Taeyeon Concert In Bangkok" is her second solo concert since she debuted as a solo artist, after eight years as the main vocalist of Girls' Generation, which has a large number of fans all over the world. She has been challenged in presenting various genres of music and made them global hits, such as I, Rain, Why, 11:11, Fine, Make Me Love You and This Christmas.
She's known as an artist fans can trust and as a role model for many rookie artists in Korea. She also has a record of 159 million views on YouTube for her debut single I, and the highest number of listeners on Spotify.
In June, she showed another experimental side with the first neo-soul song from her third mini-album, Something New, followed by the elegant comeback with other members in Oh!GG, a new unit of Girls' Generation, and the single Lil' Touch in September.
The upcoming concert is part of her third tour, which kicked off in Seoul on Oct 20 and 21 and includes stops in Hong Kong, Manila and Singapore.
Taeyeon gave a Bangkok debut concert last May with tickets sold out in two minutes. Tickets for the second concert cost 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, 4,500 and 6,000 baht, and will be available for public sale on Nov 11 from 11am onwards from all branches of Counter Service including at 7-Eleven and via AllTicket.com.
