Singer Nicholas McDonald told his wife Brandi she needed to 'calm down' after she repeatedly took a blade to his face.
The X Factor finalist from Motherwell asked 'Are you trying to cut me to me a***hole' and questioned: "How much do you trust your wife when she is that close to your eyeball with a blade? She could just cut me up."
Nicholas was not the victim of an attack but admitted he was worried for his future singing career as Brandi continuously scraped at his face, to give him a dermaplaning beauty treatment.
Dermaplaning involves shaving off the dead skin and peach fuzz on your face with a specially designed scalpel blade.
Nicholas said: "Do you ever get that when your wife calls you disgusting cause there is dead skin coming off your face. She's like 'That's disgusting'. As if guys go about with blades slashing up their face."
As Brandi commented: "It looks like snow - look at that," Nicholas continued: "She's having a go at me saying why is your face like this?
He told her: "You are really pressing on it. Are you trying to cut me to my a***hole, Please let me know if you do this. How much do you trust your wife when she is that close to your eyeball with a blade. She could just cut me up."
As Brandi moves over Nicholas's top lip area below his nose he added: 'Babe you are awfully close. What if you cut my lip and I couldn't sing. What would we do?
Brandi replied laughing: "Only fans."
Nicholas who was getting more scared by the minute added: "Why are you still doing it. Look this is trust.
You are taking the absolute mickey out of me - she is shaving my nose. This whole clattiness is not for me. You need to calm down. Babe you nearly cut me. You are taking the p***"
