MNEK slammed a troll who told the singer that they prefer him "slim".
The star, real name Uzoechi Emenike, took a screenshot of the user's rude comment as well as his response, which said that he was "disappointed" by the post.
One of the followers had commented: "We need our slim Mnek back," along with a fire emoji.
After noticing the comment, MNEK responded: "Respectfully this is really disappointing. I acc think you're an a**hole [sic]."
"I mean, look, I don’t belong to nobody," he continued. "I am my own person, I can be as fat as I want and as thin as I want. If you prefer me slimmer, that’s fine. But I don’t need this comment.

"And I really would appreciate if you took this as a lesson that this opinion of someone else’s body is unwarranted. You don’t know what they’re going thru or what has led them to lose the weight. So just shut up…respectfully."
The account has since been deleted.
His fans immediately came to his defence, with them slamming the troll for commenting on his body.

"Never. F**king. Ever. Comment on anybody's weight. I don't get why people think it's ok?" one user tweeted.
"You're not a pet I was stewing about this happening to me on Friday aGain. Nothing gives anybody the right. No matter if they're over or under. The fact nor reason is NONE o ur business."
Another wrote: "the fact you look good no matter what should be enough to satisfy everyone that loves you, you’re obviously healthy and happy those types of comments are so invasive and unnecessary.

"I’m glad you handed their a** too them because they really showed it to the world."
"You look incredible, you’re thriving and I hope you’re happy and hydrated king. I’m sorry you had to deal with this mindless shit completely unprovoked, love you," another complimented the star.
