Singer Jessie Ware welcomes ‘beautiful baby boy’ with husband Sam Burrows

Singer Jessie Ware has announced she has given birth to a baby boy at home.

The pop star told in a heartwarming Instagram post how she and husband Sam Burrows had welcomed a "beautiful baby boy".

She shared a series of snaps of her newborn baby and Sam, including one of her in a birthing pool as a midwife looked on.

The Say You Love Me singer told she he had welcomed her third child on Thursday, adding she wanted to thanked the NHS for their support.

She also shared snaps of her gazing lovingly at her newborn with her husband Sam.

In another snap Jessie is seen in a hospital bed before giving birth and doing a peace sign to the camera.

In a sweet message to her fans, she said: "Our beautiful baby boy arrived safely at home on Thursday evening!

"Biggest thanks to the Lewisham Poppie Homebirth team, Sue, Flo & Lynn, lovely Mary from the labour ward at Lewisham Hospital, Aimee, Anna.

"Dear Gowri @gentlebirthmethod and of course my @samburrowspt for the 5am sideways walks up a hill, the slow dances, the hardcore back rubs and the constant encouragement and confidence you had in me."

She added: "It took a village of mighty women (and Sam) to get this little man here and I’m so so grateful. We are so very lucky to have the NHS and the special people that work there xxx"

Jessie had her first baby in September 2016 before giving birth to her second child, a son, in March 2019.

Jessie told in an in interview how she didn't have a maternity leave with her first child.

She said she returned to work just a few days after welcoming her daughter into the world.

Jessie told The Guardian in 2017: "I didn't get a maternity leave! I was writing emails a few days after [giving birth] because I'm self-employed and it's my business."
