Singalong Encanto is coming to The Lowry

Fans of the smash hit Disney film Encanto are in for a treat when a singalong show comes to The Lowry this weekend.

The Salford theatre will host the premiere of Sing-a-long-a Encanto, 'a unique interactive' sing-along where the lyrics appear on the screen for families to follow. Fancy dress is strongly encouraged and full audience participation essential as young and old are invited to dance, cheer and sing their hearts out.

The hit musical of 2021 about the Family Madigral is the latest in a portfolio of shows from Singalonga Productions and follows the success of Sing-a-long-a Frozen, Sing-a-Long-a The Greatest Showman, Sing-a-long-a GREASE and Sing-a-long-a Sound of Music.

You'll be encouraged to cheer on Mirabel as she tries to save the magic surrounding the Encanto. Sing your heart out with the live host, who will teach you some dance moves, help you create some magic and show you how to use your props bag, which is included with your ticket price.

A nationwide tour is planned from autumn 2022 into spring 2023, but the show kicks off at The Lowry this Saturday, June 11 at 1.30pm. The show lasts for two hours 30 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.

Tickets, costing from £15, can be booked on the website here.

A sing-along performance of The Greatest Showman will also take place later in the day, at 6pm. Tickets can be booked here.
