Sinead O'Connor teases five Irish concerts for 2020 - before deleting tweet

Sinead O'Connor may have already lined up five Irish concerts for next year - according to a deleted tweet by the singer.

The Nothing Compares 2 U hitmaker appeared to announce 2020 gigs for Cork, Belfast, Dublin, Galway and Waterford on Twitter.

However, the 52-year-old quickly deleted the social media post on Thursday morning.

If the premature announcement is true, Sinead - AKA Shuhada Sadaqat - will perform at Cork's Live at the Marquee and Belfast's Botanic Gardens in June.

She also appears to be pencilled in for Galway's Big Top and Dublin's Iveagh Gardens in July, as well as a show at Waterford's All Together Now festival.

After a five year break from touring, Sinead is down to perform in London on December 16.

The Dublin native then has a host of gigs lined up for the US and Canada between February and April - before any potential shows in Ireland next summer.

The Irish Mirror has contacted Aiken Promotions for comment.
