Sinead O'Connor says grief 'doesn't get any better' after son's death

Devastated Sinead O’Connor said yesterday her grief for her son Shane “doesn’t get any better”.

Fans and famous friends have been offering the singer support after she posted a heartbreaking video to Twitter.

In the video, the Nothing Compares 2U hitmaker remembers her son tragic Shane who was just 17 when he took his own life in January.

With tears streaming down her face, Sinead told her 50,000 followers: “It doesn’t get any better. Still dead. Every morning that I wake up, he’s a bit more f**king dead than he was the day before.”

Imelda May responded: “Oh my dearest friend, send you so much love. XXXX.”
