As first noted by Rock Paper Shotgun, there has been a multitude of bugs have come a cropper since the newest update.
Initially, it was thought to be a problem with mods.
People are also sharing concerns over game crashes and save files not working on top of everything else.
The latest patch for the Sims 4 was a big one, including significant changes to the game, which would explain why the problems are so vast and varied.
Neighbourhoods have been updated, NPCs have had their behaviours changes and so on, all of these changes have been documented in the official patch notes.
The latest expansion is out now and it is unclear if the fire pee has been addressed when downloading the new, paid content.
