The BBC world affairs editor, John Simpson, will not be sad to see the back of Television Centre in west London when the news operation moves to its newly built, central London home in Broadcasting House, which is scheduled to happen next year. "I'm sick of being out in that East German complex in Shepherd's Bush. It's a race to see if I will die of old age before it [the move] happens."
