When you mention Simpson Racing Products, most people's minds will go to four-wheeled vehicles, specifically those on a drag strip. Rightly so because that's where it all started with the brand's first product—a parachute to slow drag cars down—and it has prospered in those lanes (no pun intended). But, thankfully, the global motorcycle market is growing, and a manufacturer like Simpson isn't going to let all its solid helmet engineering go to waste.
Simpson Motorcycle is going global.
A division of Holley Performance brands, Simpson Motorcycle, recently announced that it'll expand into the fast-growing global motorcycle helmet and safety gear market, estimated at $7 billion annually. Simpson Motorcycle is already established in the US and gets special recognition for its differentiated design. But, outside of the US, it's a relatively unknown quantity, and that's about to change.
The plan is to capture more customers in the European Union (EU) and expand into high-growth areas in APAC and LATAM. Driving the expansion will be a couple of key initiatives, which include product variants, certification alignment, and co-marketing activations.
"Simpson is one of Holley’s most iconic lifestyle brands, and its growth trajectory underscores how we are scaling into adjacent markets with significant long-term potential,” said Matthew Stevenson, President & CEO, Holley Performance Brands. “By investing in new products, immersive events, and global dealer partnerships, we are positioning Simpson as a category leader in performance-driven motorcycle safety. As we reflect on progress in 2025, the Simpson team has achieved several notable milestones.”
Simpson displayed its commitment to expanding into new regions with its inaugural Saddle Up Global Dealer Summit at its New Braunfels, Texas headquarters. This event brings together the top distribution partners from the U.S., EU, Australia, and Latin America. The Summit gave us a peek into what's to come in the form of limited-edition launches.
In terms of when we'll see how the investment in Simpson Motorcycle will affect things going forward, well, just wait until the EICMA show in Milan, Italy, this November, when the brand will unveil its latest 2026 products.
