Simone Biles pulled off a high-flying, historic move on floor routine that had everyone in awe

Simone Biles won her sixth U.S. national championship in Kansas City on Sunday and she did it in style by pulling off a move on her floor routine that has never been done by a woman before and is rarely attempted by men.

Biles, who won four gold medals at the 2016 Olympic Games and is one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, had everyone in awe after she nailed a triple twisting-double somersault.

USA Today Sports’ Nancy Armour was at the event and had these incredible details about the move:

Biles landed her triple twisting-double somersault Sunday, getting so much height on the move the folks in the first half-dozen rows had to crane their necks to see her. An NBC replay showed she was actually above its boom camera, which means someone could have parked an SUV on the floor and Biles would have cleared it easily.

Insane.
