Irish rugby star Simon Zebo got engaged in the most romantic of ways on Friday night in Paris.
The former Munster star popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Elvira Fernandez with the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower and a singer setting the mood alongside them, reports RSVP Live.
The Cork native posted on Instagram: "Last night was special. My childhood sweetheart said yes.
"From the bushes in Blackrock as 15/16 yr olds to the bright lights of Paris as parents of three beautiful children.
"Love you forever Eva my queen."
Fans and friends have been congratulating the pair on social media with the picture itself racking up over 17,000 likes in an hour.
Former Munster teammate Andrew Conway said: "Nailed it!! Yup the Zebos." - while Sean O'Brien and England player Danny Care also offered their congratulations.
Zebo and Elvira welcomed their third child into the world in November.
The couple were already parents to Jacob and Sofia with the happy family living in France with Zebo lining out for Racing 92.
He departed for France back in January 2018 and has been a key part of their team ever since. He was unable to represent Ireland at this year's World Cup with Schmidt opting not to call-up players based abroad.
