Simon Zebo finds perfect place for Leinster rugby hat after secret santa gift

Simon Zebo may have left Munster in 2018 but his blood still runs red.

The Racing 92 star is part of a secret santa Christmas gift group with some of his former Munster and Ireland teammates and didn't get the present he wanted from Jerry Flannery.

Former Reds and Ireland hooker Flannery, now a lineout coach with Harlequins, sent Zebo a brand new Leinster rugby bobble hat for Christmas.

Leinster and Munster have developed a fierce rivalry during the professional era, none more so than when Zebo starred for the Reds between 2010 to 2018.

The Cork native famously admitted to hating Leinster when asked if he would consider a move to the Blues.

"No, it would never, never happen. I hate, hate that team. I would love to play them one day when I'm with Racing," said Zebo in 2019.

"It's a rivalry, you know? It's inside you, it's not something you gloss over and say, 'Oh, we're playing our friends.' You hate Leinster, that's the way I was brought up."

Unsurprisingly then, the Blues bobble hat was turfed straight into the bin!
