Simon Webbe has revealed his wife is expecting a baby after 'devastating' miscarriages

Blue star Simon Webbe has revealed his wife is expecting a baby after the heartbreak of two miscarriages.

The boyband heartthrob from Moss Side and his wife Ayshen suffered a devastating loss after she fell pregnant six months after their wedding in August 2018.

Tragedy struck again a year later.

The singer, 41, is a father to daughter Alanah, 24, from a previous relationship.

"We were devastated as we said our goodbyes," Simon told Hello!

"Nobody talks much about miscarriage and the physical and emotional effects it has.

"When it happened for the second time a year later, we went through the pain again."

Simon says Ayshen fell pregnant when the couple decided to stop trying.

"That's when it happened," he explained.

"Ayshen fell pregnant immediately. So our baby was made out of love with no pressure."

He added: "Whenever I touch Ayshen's tummy, the baby moves, as if it knows it's me.

"I whisper 'You're going to be loved so much and I can't wait to meet you'."

Simon shot to fame with the band Blue after they released their debut single All Rise in 2001.

The band went on to sell more than 15 million records and they represented the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011, finishing 11th in the competition.

In 2014 Simon was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and he was a runner-up in the BBC dance contest with his professional partner Kristina Rihanoff.

The full interview is in Hello! magazine out now.
