Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite for new ghosting-hunting TV show Truth Seekers

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost will star in their first TV series together since Spaced aired 18 years ago.

Pegg and Frost are well known for their on-screen collaborations in the cult favourite TV show as well as movies including Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End.

The duo will reunite for Truth Seekers, an Amazon Prime comedy-horror series about paranormal investigators which will star Frost as Gus, one half of a ghost-hunting duo who join forces to uncover and film paranormal sightings across the UK.

Meanwhile, Pegg will play a mysterious character called Dave.

Frost and Pegg will be joining forces to also co-write the series with Nat Saunders and James Serafinowicz.

According to a report in Variety, the show will see the pair “stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers, and abandoned hospitals using an array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos and share their adventures on an online channel”.

They continue: “Their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, terrifying, and even deadly as the pair begin to uncover a conspiracy that could threaten the entire human race.

“Pegg will also star, as Dave, a character about whom little is yet known.”

Further details of about the cast and release date will be released soon when the show goes into production.

Production on the eight-part series starts in September.
