Simon Levy jailed for life for murdering two women and raping a third

Simon Levy Police

Serial sex attacker Simon Levy, 40, has been jailed for life at the Old Bailey for the murders of Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo and Sheryl Wilkins, as well as the rape of a third woman.
Levy’s prolific sexual offending spanned the period between 2018 and 2025.
The Metropolitan Police, British Transport Police and Crown Prosecution Service admitted to failings that left Levy on bail despite his escalating attacks.
Systemic failings included delayed identification parades, errors in opposing bail by prosecutors and a failure to issue arrest warrants when Levy missed court appearances.
The Independent Office for Police Conduct has served misconduct notices on two Metropolitan Police officers, while Scotland Yard urged any other survivors to come forward.
