Simon Cowell savages Britain's Got Talent acts saying 'you're just not as good'

Simon Cowell is known for his harsh remarks - and tonight he completely savaged two semi-final acts.

Simon started off tonight's Britain's Got Talent by admitting last night's semi-final acts were "all missing something".

And the head judge admitted he wanted to see the bar raised by tonight's acts.

But Simon's wish was not to be, as he completely laid into two acts.

Rob King sang Memory and despite hitting every note perfectly Simon said it was "boring."

He said: "I've heard that song a lot, you're better than that, I thought the first half was boring."

Rob looked crushed - with Ant and Dec admitting that his comments were "mixed"

Next up was dance group KNE - who performed a routine dressed in streetwear.

Fans on Twitter couldn't help but compare the group to former BGT winners Diversity, with the group even wearing similar outfits to the famous troupe.

And Simon also had his say, when he said to the group: "You're not as good, I can't pretend this is as good as what I've seen before. People will always compare you to Diversity and the standard isn't as good as them."

However other acts fared better with comedian John Archer getting glowing remarks from Simon who said: "Tonight was your moment."

*BGT continues at 7:30pm tomorrow on ITV
